Bird watching

Catalina State Park is the closest birding hot spot. Just minutes from the house. Bring your binoculars and camera! 

Catalina mountains are 5500 acres of high Sonora desert. This region is a birding paradise. There are 47 bird species which call Catalina State Park home. Residents and migrants bring the total number of birds to more than 170 species.
